Position Purpose:

The Sr. Manager of Pro Strategy and Execution role will support key strategic initiatives in the Pro business. Reporting to the Director of Pro Strategy, this role will be responsible for cross-functional coordination of Pro initiatives from inception through to execution, manage leadership operating rhythms and prepare executive presentations with strategic storytelling. They will serve as a primary point of contact for stakeholders and coordinate cross functionally with teams across the enterprise to ensure execution excellence.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional execution of priority Pro initiatives, establishing clear objectives, success measures, road maps, owners, dependencies, risks, and decision points.
  • Serve as a strategic and execution partner to Outside Sales leadership, translating business performance, field insights, and emerging issues into recommendations and action plans.
  • Partner with Outside Sales, Outside Sales Operations, Outside Sales Enablement, Product, Technology, Finance, HR, Communications and other partner teams to develop and execute implementation plans that drive customer / associate adoption and business results.
  • Manage leadership operating rhythms and deliverables, including business reviews, initiative updates, All Hands meetings, field engagements, executive presentations and follow-up actions.
  • Maintain integrated portfolio visibility across strategic initiatives, KPIs, milestones, field impacts and cross-functional dependencies; proactively escalate risks and resource or sequencing conflicts.
  • Develop executive-ready presentations, updates, talking points and strategic narratives that connect initiatives to the Pro customer value proposition, sales priorities and financial objectives.
  • Support continuous improvement of the Outside Sales operating model, including sales productivity, portfolio and pipeline management, field routines, capability adoption, profitability and performance reporting.
  • Synthesize customer, associate, competitive, operational and financial insights to identify opportunities, solve complex business problems and drive measurable improvements.

Travel Requirements:

  • Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.


Physical Requirements:

  • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.


Working Conditions:

  • Usually in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors causing moderate physical discomfort from such things as dust, fumes or odors.
  • Under regular pressure to meet deadlines, quotas and/or must frequently deal with difficult issues related to people or situations.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be eighteen years of age or older.
  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Eight plus years of experience is preferred.


Minimum Education:

  • The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
