About this role
About Flash Pack:
When was the last time you made a new friend? The quality of your relationships is the single most important factor for your mental health. Travel has a unique ability to fast-forward the friendship-making process, which is why we’re on a mission to create one million meaningful friendships using the power of travel and technology as a platform for human connection.
We create curated social adventures for solo travellers in their 30s, 40s and 50s. Since launching in 2014, we’ve seen impressive year-on-year growth and become the category leader in a thriving, rapidly expanding market with the majority of our business now in the US.
We’re well-funded, we’ve shaken up an outdated industry, and we see ourselves as a friendship company far more than a travel company. Our culture is down-to-earth, hard-working and compassionate, built by exceptional people who care deeply about doing work we’re proud of.

The Role:
We're hiring a Video Editor to join a highly innovative, fast-moving video team, working alongside Tony, our creative strategist. This is a Meta-first role — but not a narrow one. This is a chance to help shape how a premium brand uses video as its primary growth lever.
You won't be handed a shot list and told exactly how to cut it. You'll have real creative freedom — the space to shape how we tell stories, not just execute someone else's vision. We've built our name on doing things differently (ask us about “Will You Be My Friend?”), and we want someone who's genuinely excited to keep building on that.
You will:
Scale our Meta video ad output, primarily performance-led creative
Turn raw customer and UGC footage into powerful conversion assets
Experiment with hooks, angles, and narrative structure
Support organic social and YouTube with platform-native edits, including some longer-form content for YouTube and the website
Preferably bring motion graphics into our video output — a capability we're currently missing
Help develop new formats that blend performance with brand
Your work will sit at the intersection of growth and storytelling.
Why join Flash Pack?
Join a profitable, high-growth brand scaling in the US
Work in a team that experiments boldly and moves quickly
Build work that is seen, shared and measured
Help shape how a premium, purpose-driven company uses video to grow – we’d love for you to experiment, think bold and grow quickly. Helping to transform what we do from a video perspective and climb up the ranks quickly, just like our existing Creative Strategist.
In line with our salary framework, the salary for this role is £40,000 - £44,000 p.a., depending on experience. This is a remote-flexible role: in practice, we come together as a team in London every 6–8 weeks, with the rest of the time spent working remotely from within the UK.
Where you will spend your time:
Edit high-volume Meta-first creatives designed to stop the scroll
Obsess over first-three-second hooks and retention
Turn one concept into multiple testable variations across Meta and YouTube
Refine and structure raw UGC and customer footage into compelling stories
Build longer-form content for YouTube and the website, and where useful, cut long-form into high-performing short-form
Bring motion graphics and visual polish to our video output
Collaborate closely with Tony (Creative Strategist), Lauren (Head of Content), and the growth team to iterate based on results
It’s an advantage if you have experience shooting content too.
What we’d love to see from you:
A strong editor and storyteller at heart
AI-literate and genuinely interested in using AI tools to speed up workflow, efficiency, and creative work
Deeply familiar with Meta paid social and what performs there
Excited by both performance and storytelling
Hard-working and genuinely excited to learn, grow, and develop — not just comfortable doing the job, but visibly working to get better at it
Genuinely curious about the craft and the platform landscape — the kind of person who already has real thoughts on what's working on Meta (or other channels) right now, and why, because they can't help paying attention
Takes ownership and runs with a brief, rather than waiting to be told exactly what to do — reliable enough that we're happy to trust you early on
Comfortable with UGC and customer footage, not just polished footage
Platform-native in your editing style — you naturally edit and pace things the way each platform actually consumes them (native to Reels/TikTok rhythm, not a repurposed TV ad for instagram)
Possibly from a multimedia background — some design or motion capability is a genuine advantage, for example creating static assets in tools like Figma or Higgsfield alongside your edits
Skilled across the Adobe Suite — Premiere, Basic After Effects, Photoshop, and Lightroom
Bonus if you can film as well as edit — not required, but a real plus
You care about: hooks, pacing, energy, authenticity, impact, story — not just aesthetics

A case study and presentation with the hiring manager and a key stakeholder to see how you’d solve a problem (60 mins)
Meet with one of our founders for any final questions you or we have (45-60 mins)
Some roles may have extra stages, but we will let you know as soon as possible in the process if this is the case.
