About this role

Role Overview: 

Own and grow the DriveX Parts business at Hosur — driving parts revenue, building a reliable supply chain, and establishing scalable processes for parts fulfilment, kitting, and warehouse operations.

 

Revenue Generation

·       Drive DriveX Parts revenue through direct and dealer channels, B2B and retail parts supply channels.

·       Develop new business opportunities — workshops, fleet operators, and multi-brand service centers.

·       Track sales targets, conversion, and revenue metrics; report performance to leadership.

Procurement & Inventory

·       Source and procure parts from OES and aftermarket suppliers; maintain optimal stock levels.

·       Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure no dead and slow-moving stock.

·       Set reorder levels, safety stock norms, and demand-based ordering plans.

Parts Supply & Process Setup

·       Establish end-to-end supply process for parts to external customers — workshops, dealers, and direct buyers.

·       Define SOPs for order intake, fulfilment, dispatch, and returns; ensure consistent TAT adherence.

·       Set up kitting processes for service kits, maintenance packs, and bundled part solutions.

·       Co ordinate with Quality to check and approve the new parts for introduction.

·       Develop packing / branding for Parts along with Suppliers

Warehouse Management

·       Manage day-to-day warehouse operations — inward, binning, picking, packing, and dispatch.

·       Maintain accurate GRNs, stock records, and outward documentation; enforce FIFO and 5S standards.

·       Ensure safe storage, space utilisation, and compliance with applicable guidelines.

Supplier Coordination

·       Manage existing supplier relationships — monitor delivery timelines, quality, and pricing.

·       Identify and onboard additional / new suppliers to expand parts coverage and reduce supply risk.

·       Negotiate commercial terms and review supplier performance on a regular basis.



Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

·       Degree in Automobile / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

·       5–8 years in automotive parts management, supply chain, or aftermarket business.

·       Proficiency in ERP / DMS; strong analytical and communication skills.
