Summary

 

The Amenity Butler curates personalized amenities, experiences, and unexpected moments of surprise and delight that make guests feel recognized and valued. Using guest preferences, stay purpose, special occasions, VIP details, and service-recovery needs, the role designs and coordinates memorable touches with creativity, precision, and discretion while maintaining inventory, storeroom organization, and cross-departmental alignment.

Essential Functions

 

Amenity and Experience Curation

  • Review guest profiles, preferences, stay purpose, special occasions, VIP details, and service-recovery needs to curate thoughtful, distinctive amenities and experiences.
  • Proactively develop surprise-and-delight concepts that reflect each guest’s occasion and stay.
  • Assemble, personalize, stage, and coordinate the timing and placement of each amenity or experience.
  • Verify quality, presentation, personalization, timing, and completeness before delivery.

Inventory & Storeroom Management

  • Maintain accurate inventory records, par levels, and accountability for amenity supplies and equipment.
  • Receive, label, organize, and store products to protect quality, prevent shortages, and minimize waste.
  • Conduct routine counts and support inventory audits.

Organization & Facility Standards

  • Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and professional storeroom.
  • Follow safety, sanitation, waste-disposal, and operational standards.

Systems & Administrative Duties

  • Review Opera Cloud, 360 HUB, Monday.com, Birchstreet, and other designated platforms to identify guest requests and amenity requirements.
  • Track requests, fulfillment status, inventory movement, and deliveries accurately.
  • Recommend process improvements that strengthen efficiency and service delivery.

Customer Service & Service Excellence

  • Deliver Forbes Five-Star service through urgency, professionalism, ownership, and meticulous execution.
  • Gather guest insights and partner with operational teams to coordinate personalized moments across the guest journey.
  • Anticipate meaningful needs and occasions, responding with thoughtful amenities and creative touches.


Education/Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong organization, time management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and maintain exceptional attention to detail.
  • Professional appearance, positive attitude, and commitment to quality.

Preferred

  • Experience in luxury hospitality, guest services, inventory control, storeroom management, or warehouse operations.
  • Experience with inventory or tracking systems; familiarity with Opera Cloud, Monday.com, Agilysys POS, and Microsoft Office, Birchstreet preferred.
