Location: Spring Creek Village, an Assisted Living with Memory Care senior community

Pay Rate: $16.00/hour

Shifts Available:

Must be available to work weekends and holidays.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Exercise independent judgment and discretion in performing tasks beyond routine resident care.

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, monitor residents' responses, and adhere to community infection control policies.

Assist residents with medications as outlined in medication procedures and supervise those who self-administer.

Maintain residents’ records daily, documenting medication distribution, leisure activities, incidents, observations, and any changes in residents' conditions.

Write weekly/monthly summaries addressing issues identified in service plans.

Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the medicine supply room.

Receive and manage reports on all residents.

Count controlled substances with outgoing RMAs, ensuring accuracy before accepting keys.

Provide direct resident care as described in the Resident Assistant Job Description.

Follow proper procedures in emergencies and respond promptly to resident requests for assistance.

Promote teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers.

Attend all required in-service training sessions.

Be an active member of the community’s emergency response team.

Maintain high standards of appearance, cleanliness, and personal hygiene in line with company policies.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

High School diploma or GED required.

6 months to 1 year of prior resident care experience, preferably with seniors.

Delegation by a Registered Nurse for medication administration.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Strong problem-solving skills, good judgment, and attention to detail.

Understanding of HIPAA requirements.
