DevOps System Engineer
About this role
As a DevOps Systems Engineer you will develop, deploy, and support/operate the platform based on Cloud Technologies such as OpenStack, Kubernetes, Cassandra, Elasticsearch. Furthermore, you will solve complex technical issues, understand whole solutions including different systems and technologies for platforms running in multiple software systems.
Responsibilities
- Define, architect, and deploy high availability solutions using Cloud Technologies.
- Define, develop and maintain deployment and operation script and tools for deployment automation.
- Understand pipeline definition and automation for building, validating and deploying the platform to work on CI/CD.
- Maintain Solution and Database monitoring solutions.
- Responsible for Solution platform deployment, installation, patching, and third party software upgrades on internal and external customer platforms.
- Participate in technical design review and strategic decision making.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor´s degree in computer science, systems engineering or similar fields.
- At least 2 years of experience in cloud data base administration deployment, configuration, and migration.
- Fluent in Spanish and English (B2).
Position Requirements
- Mexican citizenship or work permit.
- Office based in Cuernavaca.
- Software development lifecycle and Cloud Data Bases.
