Lead Supply Chain Consultant (MRP Domain)

Metro Manila, Philippines · On-site

About this role

As a Lead Supply Chain Consultant / MRP Domain BA, you will lead the business and operating model side of an SAP S/4HANA Material Requirements Planning implementation, helping align people, process, and tools across demand, inventory, procurement, and supply chain planning.

What You’ll Do and How You’ll Succeed

Phase 1: Diagnose & Align (People & Process)

  • Review current materials management policies and strategy to assess whether clear planning guidelines exist and where they need to be tightened or updated.
  • Analyse operational data on inventory, supply replenishment, and material consumption patterns, with attention to treatment chemicals, network materials, spare materials, and project requirements.
  • Assess planning processes, how consistently they are followed, and how key decision-makers are involved in governance and supply chain planning.
  • Facilitate discovery discussions and leadership workshops to align stakeholders on the business case, planning pain points, and future-state direction.

Phase 2: Gap Analysis & Operating Model Design (Process & Tools)

  • Use data-backed findings to identify performance gaps, process leaks, and operational opportunities.
  • Design the future-state operating model for materials planning, procurement interaction, stock transfer processes, and supply chain planning governance.
  • Support the segmentation of materials by criticality and help align planning parameters based on operational requirements.
  • Translate business requirements into clear functional inputs that can be validated against SAP S/4HANA capabilities.

Phase 3: Optimization & Enablement (Tools & Implementation)

  • Support advanced data modelling for optimal purchasing strategies, inventory planning, and cash flow optimisation.
  • Contribute to MRP optimisation by defining core planning parameters such as ROP/ROQ, Min-Max, STO frameworks, and planning time fences.
  • Support a controlled pilot before full rollout by helping validate process readiness, planning governance, and business adoption.
  • Help define reports for decision-making and performance monitoring, including inventory KPI performance scoring and supply chain agility indicators.

We’d Love to Hear From You If...

  • Water utility, infrastructure-heavy, or asset-heavy operations experience is preferred.
  • You have experience running complex leadership workshops and aligning senior stakeholders around a business case.

Technical Expertise

  • You understand MRP concepts, materials segmentation, planning parameters, stock transfer processes, and master data validation.
  • You are familiar with SAP-enabled planning environments and can work with SAP functional specialists to validate process recommendations.
  • You understand how demand streams, BOM, forecasted inventory, and supply chain planning connect in an operating model.

Ways of Working

  • You are business-first, structured, and able to translate operational realities into practical planning recommendations.

  • You communicate clearly with business, functional, and technical teams.
