Job DetailsLevel: ExperiencedPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Must be able to pass open root stainless plate test with backing strip. 1g position

Any experience with semi-automatic mig and sub arc welding process a plus.

Must be available to work overtime as needed

1. Lay out, cut, file, and prepare materials for welding.

1. Fabricates a variety of regular and irregular parts.

1. Perform various fit up and welding processes in all positions.

1. Use plasma torch for trimming fittings.

1. Verify conformance of work piece to specifications.

1. Other duties as assigned.

1. Must be able to work with minimal supervision.

1. Must be able to follow given direction and take initiative to move on to the next task

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Provide on the job training to new employees as needed.

1. Follow all safety and health policies and procedures issued by the company.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

1. Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school

diploma or equivalent.

1. Ability to read tape measure accurately.

1. Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers.

1. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds required.

1. Forklift certification preferred.

1. Basic press skills preferred

WORKING CONDITIONS Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Work involves frequent lifting of materials up to 50 pounds. Machinery and tool operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, steel toed work boots, and gloves.

PPE REQUIRED Safety glasses, ear protection, steel toed boots, and gloves. Use of grinder/cutting torch or welding equipment requires face shield or goggles. FALL PROTECTION ASSESSMENT N/A
