The Warehouse Supervisor provides operational leadership and ensures efficient, customer-focused performance in a demanding order fulfillment environment where excellence is expected. This position oversees all warehouse functions, including inventory control, employee development, workflow coordination, and compliance with company goals & policies. The Warehouse Supervisor drives continuous improvement, fosters a collaborative team culture, and ensures that processes, people, and resources are aligned to deliver exceptional service and support the company’s strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Support strategic warehouse operational goals.
Perform HR-related administrative duties, including scheduling, documentation, and personnel coordination.
Lead, supervise, and support warehouse staff, providing ongoing coaching, performance feedback, and issue resolution.
Oversee employee training and development to ensure operational competence and regulatory compliance.
Engage proactively with the customer to coordinate workflow, align scheduling, and support service expectations.
Maintain strong professional relationships with customer personnel and internal stakeholders.
Ensure accurate inventory control through proper storage practices and oversight of weekly and quarterly cycle counts.
Prioritize and complete daily administrative and clerical tasks essential to warehouse operations.
Ensure the warehouse and yard remain clean, organized, and consistently 'showroom ready.'
Validate that all picked, packed, and shipped materials meet customer quality and accuracy standards.
Oversee the verification and staging of customer materials to ensure timely order fulfillment.
Record and maintain warehouse operational data, including daily safety and equipment inspections.
Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed to support workflow.
Maintain appropriate staffing levels to deliver exceptional customer service while ensuring operational efficiency and adherence to company procedures.
Maintain appropriate and timely communication with Alliance Supervisor & Account Manager as applicable.
Qualifications
Prior Warehouse Supervisor or lead experience preferred. Previous warehouse and forklift experience required.
Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Radio Frequency (RF) scanners, basic computer navigation and data entry
Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to build relationships.
Valid driver's license required for business travel between locations.
Experience loading and securing flatbed trailers preferred.
Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple tasks, and a professional, effective demeanor when communicating with all levels of the organization and customers.

Physical Requirements
Safely lift, carry, push, and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds as required.
Work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, wind, and other environmental elements.
Stand and walk for extended periods while performing warehouse and material handling duties.
Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, twist, reach, push, pull, and climb to safely perform essential job functions.
Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse or material handling equipment, as authorized and required.
Maintain attention to detail and consistently follow established safety procedures in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Visually inspect materials, read labels and inventory information, and accurately complete required documentation.
Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, to understand work instructions, complete assignments, and collaborate professionally with team members.
