About the team - Consumer Banking Product Strategy

Texas Capital’s Consumer and Digital Banking Product Strategy team drives the vision, growth, and competitive positioning of our consumer, digital, and private banking products. Working at the intersection of strategy, technology, and finance, we identify market opportunities, develop go-to-market plans, and shepherd products from concept through launch. We partner across organizations to build innovative capabilities that delight customers and strengthen our market position. Our work is grounded in customer needs and competitive dynamics; turning strategy into execution and insights into impact.

About the role

This role is responsible for translating our Consumer Banking Product Strategy into operational and systems reality. You will own the systems configurations and processes that enable the successful delivery of our product initiatives — from promotional mechanics and incentive program structures to system configurations that support scalability and compliance. This role also will drive continuous improvement in processes and identify system enhancements needed to support new products and initiatives.

You will be expected to work closely with strategy, technology, risk, and audit teams ensuring our operational capabilities align with product objectives and support efficient, compliant execution at scale. This role sits at the intersection of product, strategy, and execution, with a strong sense of operational rigor that enables product teams to execute with confidence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product strategy execution: Partner with product strategy and leadership teams to understand product requirements, timelines, and go-to-market objectives, then translate these into operational and systems requirements

  • Manage cross-functional initiatives: Lead projects that require coordination across product, technology, operations, risk, and audit; communicate progress, risks, and decisions clearly to stakeholders

  • Leverage data to drive incentive program performance: Analyze product-level and customer-level data to produce insights into actionable recommendations that inform program design, optimization, and decision-making across stakeholders

  • Ensure audit and compliance readiness: Work with risk and audit teams to embed controls, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and maintain audit readiness across all operational areas

  • Build and refine operational processes: Develop scalable, compliant operational processes that support product delivery; document workflows, define roles and responsibilities, and ensure consistency across teams

  • Competitive & Market Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify competitive positioning and trends

  • Product Innovation Identification: Identify opportunities for product innovation within the consumer banking and wealth portfolios, including the introduction of new products or enhancements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a similar field; advanced degree preferred

  • 6-7 years of experience in product management, corporate strategy, product operations, or similar experience

  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives and influence senior stakeholders

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with experience developing executive-level materials and recommendations

  • Experience leveraging AI tools and data-driven methodologies to improve research, analysis, and execution effectiveness

  • Strong understanding of financial systems, platform architecture, and how operational processes integrate with technology
