Responsibilities
- Prepare financial cash flow models and balance sheet committee memos.
- Perform initial review of financial statements and related Spreading.
- Support Credit Portfolio Managers on review, renewal, and completion of Credit Approvals.
- Create Pitch Books, Client Advisory presentations, and Executive Summaries prior to client/prospect calls.
- Attend client and prospect calls with Relationship Managers (RM), support meeting preparation, and coordinate timeline, meetings, and actions to execute and close deals.
- Research and generate prospect opportunities.
- Manage risk portfolio reviews, exception clearing, and credit projects.
- Engage with all lines of business within the firm to develop and grow your understanding of Texas Capital products and services.
- Log all activity accurately and timely in applicable Texas Capital systems (Salesforce, Alloscape, wDesk etc.).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business (Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, etc.) or other relevant degree.
- .5 to 1.5 years of experience in Banking, Commercial Banking preferred or other relevant experience.
- Effective team player with ability to work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
- Exceptional writing, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Analytical skills - critical thinking, data and information analysis, research, and problem solving.
- Organizational and time management skills.
- Fundamental knowledge of Credit Underwriting.
- Strong attention to detail and accurate reporting within Texas Capital systems.
- High interest in outreach to, and involvement in, the communities where we live and work.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint to produce reports, correspondence, and presentations.
