About this role
- Knowledgeable about various types of spirits, beers, wines, and mixers, and able to recommend appropriate pairings with BBQ dishes.
- Provide exceptional hospitality by welcoming guests, taking orders, engaging with customers, and answering inquiries about the menu to create a positive guest experience.
- Ability to make drinks and serve alcohol in high-volume periods efficiently and maintain a smooth workflow during peak hours.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines, including responsible alcohol service and proper sanitation procedures by maintaining a clean and organized bar area. This includes proper storage and handling of glassware, utensils, and ingredients to ensure a safe and hygienic bar environment for both staff and customers.
- Familiarity with BBQ cuisine and understanding of different BBQ styles, cuts of meat, and traditional flavors to offer informed recommendations to patrons.
- Ability to complete tasks asked for by the management team.
