Machine Operator - Weigh, Measure, Stencil

Purpose:
Performs the operation of weighting, measuring, stenciling and inspecting pipes in automated facilities and performs final management of pipes and orders, in a safe and efficient manner according to applicable procedures, complying with defined quality standards.
Main Activities:

Executes change over and set up of the machine.

Changes machine tools and consumables ensuring their availability (paint, dies)

Performs stenciling machine operation.

Follows up manufacturing orders and notifies when missing.
-
Manages remaining material.
-
Follows up manufacturing orders compliance.
-
Reassigns pipes to manufacturing orders.
-
Performs the operation of pipe band painting.
-
Places end protectors on pipes.
-
Weights pipes and register obtained values.
-
Carries out and controls pipe varnishing.
-
Administrates identification labels.
-
Executes steel identification with spectrometer.
-
Assists machine lock outs and tag outs and does operative maintenance (painting nozzles, scale calibration, etc).

Updates information in the tracking systems and records the obtained results.
Minimum requirements:
- Completed High School or 5 years of experience in the company or entry level exam approved.
