Industrial Planning Manager

MAIN RESPONSIBILITES:
- Direct and execute the Industrial Management Control procedure, including Industrial Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), monthly cost management control, and annual industrial production budget definition.
- Manage the information flow among industrial IT systems, ensuring the correct application of company management guidelines.
- Develop tools/models to identify improvement opportunities to increase facility competitiveness.
- Analyze monthly performance, prepare comprehensive monthly summaries.
- Identify deviations and collaborate with production, maintenance, and engineering departments to establish corrective actions.
- Evaluate investment opportunities and feasibility, estimating potential economic benefits and investment return.
- Define with operations, maintenance, and engineering departments to determine the best feasible improvement opportunities by identifying problems, collaborating on defining solutions, and conducting the economic evaluation of proposed solutions.
- Develop the annual industrial production budget, which includes the definition of the facility working regime based on the sales forecast, technological headcount definition and required headcount according to the working regime, establishment of new performance targets (machine utilization, scheduled maintenance, quality indicators, raw material utilization/process yield, etc.), development of energy consumption models, and calculation of manufacturing costs.
- Lead continuous improvement groups to improve manufacturing processes, increase capacity, and reduce production costs.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Six (6) years of experience in a related occupation in the steel-pipe manufacturing industry performing each of the following: conducting time studies on steel pipe and oil country tubular goods (OCTG) products to assess manufacturing line capabilities (heat treatment, inspection, threading) and establish standard productivity metrics; identifying cycle time optimization and resource utilization improvements; managing KPIs and performing data analytics using Power BI to monitor and improve operational performance; ensuring data accuracy across data pipelines; defining annual industrial production budgets and setting performance commitments; leading continuous improvements using Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or Agile methods, including planning scope, milestones, and deliverables; maintaining project dashboards and databases; and developing labor utilization forecasting models.
Special Requirements: Up to 45% domestic travel to Conroe, Texas facility may be required.
