Cut Off/Band Saw Operator
LOCATION: Baytown - Texas - USA
DEPARTMENT: INDUSTRIAL OPERATIONS
Must be able to work at rotating shift
Performs the operation of cutting pipes in a safe and efficient manner according to applicable procedures, complying with defined quality standards.
- Executes change over and set up of the cutting machine.
- Positions pipes and identifies the zones to be cut.
- Performs cutting machine operation.
- Cuts pipes.
- Changes machine tools.
- Assists machine lock outs and tag outs and does operative maintenance (cooling fluid, machine adjustments, etc.).
- Updates information in the tracking systems.
