1. Position Information
- Job Title: Base Maintenance Group Supervisor

- Reporting To: Maintenance Manager
- Employment Type: Full-Time
2. Purpose of the Role
Develop and lead the execution of preventive maintenance strategies to ensure equipment reliability and performance. Drive systematic analysis of failures and operational performance, define corrective actions, and identify continuous improvement opportunities. Support Engineering in selecting and commissioning new equipment.
3. Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement maintenance strategies for all assigned systems
- Develop, supervise, and optimize Preventive Maintenance (PM) plans
- Conduct failure, problem, and performance analysis to improve equipment reliability
- Provide technical support to operational teams and emergency crews
- Perform and oversee inspections within the area of responsibility
- Ensure availability of technical resources, including spare parts and minimum stock levels
- Support Engineering in equipment evaluation, selection, and commissioning
- Prepare and manage maintenance budgets, ensuring cost control
- Enforce compliance with HSE policies; lead incident reporting, investigations, and corrective actions
- Maintain updated risk analysis and environmental assessments
- Contribute to maintenance information systems and data-driven decision-making
- Drive initiatives to optimize energy consumption
- Analyze complex technical issues and recommend solutions
- Ensure adherence to company policies, standards, and regulatory requirements
- Lead, coach, and develop team members; manage HR-related activities
4. Qualifications & Experience
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field)
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years in industrial maintenance (manufacturing/heavy industry preferred)
- At least 2–3 years in a supervisory role
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and reliability methodologies (FMEA, RCM, etc.)
- Budgeting and cost control
- Equipment commissioning and technical evaluation
- CNC Machine Troubleshooting
