About this role
Responsibilities:
- Scheduling and assigning team members to complete maintenance tasks.
- Maintain workflow by monitoring team members and resources; implementing lean principles; monitoring reporting procedures and systems; initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments.
- Accomplishes maintenance results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, identifying and coordinating training needs, appraising job results; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing policies and procedures.
- Use a CMMS, such as Limble, to manage and track maintenance work.
- Prepare and submit CAPEX requests.
- Maintains staff by training, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees.
- Perform Annual Reviews for all direct reports.
- Ensure proper operation of equipment by issuing and completing work orders.
- Interacts with other managers, supervisors, and production workers on maintenance issues.
- Ensure a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing team members on the proper use of equipment and resources; maintaining compliance with established environmental and safety policies and procedures.
- Desire to improve professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices.
- Ability to interact tactfully and courteously with employees, vendors and contractors
- Maintain housekeeping and 6S standards.
- Identify quality issues and attain established productivity standards.
- Perform related responsibilities as required or directed.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- Associates/Technical degree or equivalent experience required.
- At least 5 years of related maintenance experience.
- At least 1-3 years in a maintenance leadership role preferred.
- Experience with maintenance systems.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- People-centric approach to daily business tasks and interactions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel, and knowledge in or ability to quickly learn other computer applications.
- Strong organizational skills, time management skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to compile, analyze and interpret data.
- Proficiency in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) methodologies; certification preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time, squat, bend, twist and turn as needed to perform the job.
- Must be able to climb ladders and stairs multiple times throughout the shift.
- Remove tooling and properly reassemble using basic hand tools. Basic motor skills are required to perform the necessary mechanical aspects of this job in an efficient manner.
- Must be able to lift up to 55 pounds multiple times throughout shift.
- Must be able to wear required safety equipment.
