Kingpin Melbourne is searching for a Bar Manager who’s passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences, thrives in a structured, high‑volume environment, and brings deep product knowledge - especially across beer and beverage - to elevate our bar offering. You’ll lead a vibrant team, drive performance, and create the kind of atmosphere guests can’t wait to return to.

 

About the Role

 

As Bar Manager, you’ll oversee the daily operations of the bar, ensuring standout guest experience, strong team performance, and full compliance with licensing, safety, and quality standards. You’ll lead service delivery, manage stock and suppliers, optimise revenue, and cultivate a welcoming, efficient, and well‑run bar environment.

 

What You’ll Be Doing

 

• Lead, roster, and support the bar team to achieve operational goals and deliver exceptional service.
• Train, coach, and develop team members to Kingpin standards, building capability and confidence.
• Drive bar performance by maximising sales, hitting targets, and maintaining a high‑energy, fun service environment - especially during peak volume periods.
• Deliver unique and memorable experiences for social and corporate guests.
• Champion outstanding service standards and inspire the team to uphold Kingpin’s signature hospitality.
• Collaborate with key departments to ensure seamless operations and consistently magical guest experiences every shift.

 

What You’ll Bring

 

• Demonstrated leadership experience in a bar environment, ideally with strong product and beer knowledge.
• High‑volume experience within a structured or systemised workplace.
• Valid RSA and Working With Children Check.
• A hands‑on, high‑performance leadership style, thriving in fast‑paced settings and modelling premium service standards.
• A natural passion for product, people, and guest experience - creating memorable moments that keep guests coming back.
