Service Cashier

Edmond Hyundai is looking for a friendly, dependable, and detail-oriented Service Cashier to join our team. The Service Cashier is an important part of the customer experience and works closely with our Service Advisors, technicians, and customers to ensure a smooth and professional checkout process.

What You'll Do

• Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service

• Process customer payments accurately, including cash, credit cards, and other payment methods

• Close and balance repair orders and daily transactions

• Handle cash drawer and payment reconciliation

• Answer incoming phone calls and direct customers to the appropriate department

• Assist customers with questions regarding invoices, payments, and service charges

• Review repair orders for accuracy before processing payment

• Coordinate with Service Advisors to ensure customers are checked out efficiently

• Maintain an organized and welcoming cashier area

• Follow dealership policies and procedures for handling customer payments and sensitive information

• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the customer's visit

• Issue and process purchase orders for the Service Department, ensuring accuracy and proper authorization.
• Coordinate with vendors and management regarding parts, supplies, and service-related purchases.
• Maintain accurate records of purchase orders and invoices.

What We're Looking For

• Previous cashier, receptionist, customer service, or automotive dealership experience preferred

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Excellent communication and customer-service skills

• Professional appearance and positive attitude

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

• Basic computer skills and ability to learn dealership software

• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented

• Ability to handle confidential customer and payment information professionally

Schedule: Full-time
Pay: $17–$18 per hour, depending on experience
