Position Summary

The Vice President of Strategic Medical Sales is tasked with leading all external commercial activities to drive revenue growth, market expansion, and customer engagement within the OEM sector. This role demands strategic vision, industry expertise, and a strong focus on customer-centric marketing. The Vice President of Strategic Medical Sales plays a pivotal role in shaping the Tecomet's market presence within the medical device manufacturing industry.

This role ideally will be based from a location in the US Eastern time zone.

Principle Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to achieve revenue targets, enhance
  • market share and increase customer satisfaction.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing sales and marketing team, fostering a culture of excellence and
  • customer-centricity.
  • Oversee external commercial activities, including business development, customer relationship management, and marketing initiatives.
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and emerging market trends to drive growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business objectives, optimize operational efficiency, and deliver exceptional customer value.
  • Monitor competitive landscape and industry trends to inform product development, marketing strategies, and customer engagement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards in all commercial and marketing
  • Develop and implement customer-centric marketing campaigns and initiatives to enhance brand awareness and customer loyalty.
  • Utilize market research and customer insights to drive product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market
  • Lead the development of compelling marketing collateral, promotional materials, and digital marketing campaigns to support sales efforts.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Champion a customer-first approach across the organization, ensuring that all commercial activities are aligned with delivering exceptional value and experiences to customers.

Qualification Requirements

Credentials/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field (preferred)
  • Masters in business administration, Marketing or related field
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in leading sales or marketing
  • Minimum of 6 years’ experience in contract and vendor management.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience driving revenue growth, achieving business objectives, and building strong customer relationships.

Experience/Educational/Training Preferred:

  • Strong leadership skills with ability to mentor and develop a sales team.
  • Deep understanding of regulatory and quality standards (e.g. ISO 13485, FDA, GMP) affecting medical device manufacturing

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to work effectively as member of a high performing professional team, including remote collaboration.
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
  • Proven ability to achieve sales quotas and grow territory.
  • Demonstrate the ability to gather, submit detailed business information for pricing and presentation of solutions to identified prospects' business problems.
  • Demonstrate the ability to develop and carry-on effective business conversations/relationships with business owners, senior leaders, and key decision makers.
  • Demonstrate technical selling skills and product knowledge in all areas listed above that result in effective presentations of all of Tecomet’s global capabilities.
  • Proficient with CRM tools (such as SFDC or similar)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
