How You’ll Shape Our Success 

No two days look the same at EMS. As a Field Service Technician, you'll be out in the field every day — visiting hospitals and healthcare facilities, performing medical gas compliance and environmental testing, and building real relationships with customers who count on you. If you like hands-on work, solving problems, and staying on the move, this is the job for you. 

Your Day-to-Day Environment 

  • Travel daily to customer sites in your assigned territory
  • Work independently out of your own company-provided service vehicle 
  • Lift, carry, and move equipment weighing 50–100 lbs while standing and walking for most of the day 

What You'll Take Ownership Of 

  • Travel to hospitals and healthcare facilities to perform medical gas compliance testing, certification, and repair services.
  • Troubleshoot and repair pumps, compressors, manifolds, and small electronics.
  • Test and certify medical gas systems and perform environmental monitoring services.
  • Complete field documentation and administrative tasks accurately and on time.

What You'll Bring 

  • High school diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelor's degree is a plus) 
  • Requires some relevant customer service, mechanical and/or electrical experience 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new technical work 
  • Additional accreditation and certification will be earned such as ASSE 6010, 6030, or 6040
  • Experience working in healthcare environments is a plus. 
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
