Solution Architect

• Lead the design of end-to-end solutions across data platforms and digital engineering initiatives.
  
• Translate business needs into technical architecture and design specifications.
  
• Ensure solutions are aligned with enterprise architecture frameworks and best practices (e.g., TOGAF).
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including business analysts, data engineers, software developers, and DevOps—to deliver cohesive and scalable solutions.
  
• Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, platforms, and frameworks to meet project and organizational needs.
  
• Develop and maintain architectural artifacts, including high-level designs, data flow diagrams, system interactions, and integration patterns.
  
• Drive the approval of the high-level designs through the governance process.
  
• Perform Business capability modeling, business capability assessment including identification of gaps and opportunities, As-Is, Transition & Target Architecture views and recommend roadmaps/initiatives with prioritization.
  
• Advocate and enforce architectural principles, standards, patterns and policies
  
• Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to engineering teams.
  
• Stay up to date on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in data architecture and digital engineering.
  
• Able to perform architecture assessments and present the findings and recommendations tailored for senior leadership audience
  
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum of 15 years of experience in IT, including at least 5 years in a solution architecture role with significant exposure to both data and digital engineering environments.
  
• Experience in Business Architecture including business capability modeling, business capability assessment including identification of gaps and opportunities, As-Is, Transition & Target Architecture views and recommending roadmaps/initiatives with prioritization. Good presentation (Microsoft PowerPoint) and communication skills are mandatory.
  
• Experience in Automotive Dealership & Distribution industry (New and Used vehicles).
  
• Strong exposure to AI and Gen AI technologies and experience with the Azure cloud platform and related technologies.
  
• Preferred Certifications: TOGAF, CBA.
  
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles and experience with microservices, APIs, and integration patterns.
  
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering business value through AI solutions.
  
• Experience in architecture governance.
  
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
  
• Familiarity with modern DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  
• Relevant technical professional certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure AI fundamentals are highly valued.
