About this role
- Assessing complex data sources and quickly turning these into business insights and reports
- End to End implementation of Power BI Apps/Reports, Data sets and Dashboards including requirement gathering to development and access management.
- Quick prototyping, designing, and requirement analysis for analytics and visualization use cases.
- Creation of standard themes and templates for PBI libraries.
- Supporting Power BI server management requests.
- Enhance existing reporting artifacts and applying development and governance best practices.
- Closely interact with Business, Functional and Technical stakeholders for requirement analysis, testing and delivery of the identified requirements.
Requirements
- Expertise in Power BI including Design / Development / administration of apps/reports, data sets and dashboards.
- Able to implement row level security on data and understand application security layer models in Power BI.
- Azure Data platform and Databricks knowledge will be advantageous.
- Minimum 5 Years of experience in Power BI project-based development.
- Excellent communication, analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent in analytical thinking for translating data into informative visuals and reports.
- Ability to work autonomously and with a diverse team.
- Knowledge of Tableau / Alteryx will be advantageous.
- Minimum 5-7 years of PowerBI Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Knowledge/Experience with Azure Cloud stack, Tableau / Alteryx
- PowerBI Certification
