Responsibilities

The JP Sales Support & Order Management Specialist provides end‑to‑end operational support for the Japan market, covering quotations, order processing, renewals, and distributor coordination. Japan is one of our highest‑volume and most complex regions, requiring strong process discipline, accuracy, and bilingual communication skills. This role is critical to ensuring smooth revenue operations and high‑quality customer and partner experience.

  • Sales Order Processing — Manage the full lifecycle of sales orders, including validation, entry, and coordination with internal teams.

  • Quotation Management — Prepare and validate quotes in Salesforce; support Sales with pricing, SKU selection, and deal structuring.

  • Renewals — Process renewal orders accurately and on time to prevent revenue leakage.

  • Distributor & Partner Support — Handle daily operational requests from major JP distributors & resellers, including documentation, PO handling, and ad‑hoc support.

  • Salesforce — Maintain accurate opportunity, quote, and order data; ensure compliance with internal processes.

  • Order Entry & ERP Coordination — Receive, validate, and input Purchase Orders into ERP systems; ensure alignment with order management policies.

  • Channel Order Processing — Support channel partners with order entry, documentation, and coordination, developing independence over time.

  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration — Work closely with Sales, Finance, Deal Desk, and Customer Success to ensure smooth deal execution.

  • Documentation & Compliance — Ensure all JP‑specific documentation, approvals, and audit requirements are met.

Requirements
  • Professional‑level Japanese (spoken & written) mandatory for daily communication with distributors, partners, and customers.

  • Business‑level English required for internal communication across APAC and global teams.

  • Salesforce proficiency strong working knowledge of quoting, opportunity management, and order workflows.

  • Foundational understanding of order management processes, tools, and techniques, including order entry, validation, and administrative workflows.

  • Working knowledge of ERP systems and ability to input, validate, and track orders accurately.

  • Familiarity with purchase order formats, channel order entry, and basic data entry requirements.

  • Proficiency in handling routine order entry tasks, including receiving and processing POs and entering them into internal systems.

  • Developing independence in performing channel order processing tasks, with guidance from senior team members.

  • Understanding of organizational order management policies, compliance requirements, and internal workflows.

  • Awareness of the importance of accurate order processing for customer satisfaction, revenue recognition, and audit readiness.

  • Strong attention to detail, ability to manage high‑volume transactional workloads, and commitment to accuracy.

  • Developing collaboration skills for working with channel partners and internal stakeholders.

  • Commitment to continuous learning and improving order management skills through training and development.
