Responsibilities
Assist in payroll preparation by compiling and organizing monthly payroll data for 10 countries, ensuring accuracy for over 1,200 employees across Germany and EMEA.
Manage assigned benefit categories and focus areas independently, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies.
Address employee inquiries through our HR ticketing system, resolving questions related to payments, payslip access, vacation calculations, and other payroll-related topics.
Ensure accurate time tracking for working students and calculate their payments in line with contract terms and local labor laws.
Generate and review payroll reports, verify data accuracy, and support monthly payroll processing.
Identify and analyze opportunities for efficiency improvements within payroll operations and support the design and implementation of streamlined payroll workflows.
Contribute to the creation and maintenance of comprehensive payroll documentation, including processes, policies, and best practices.
Provide administrative and analytical support for ongoing global payroll projects and initiatives, contributing to the delivery of high-quality, compliant payroll services across regions.
Requirements
Enrolled student (all genders) at a university or college in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
Mandatory Internship (40hrs/week) for a minimum duration of 5 - 6 months.
Fluency in German and good English skills are mandatory; additional languages are a plus.
Strong analytical skills with a high focus on detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in payroll systems and tools (e.g., Excel, SAP, ADP) is a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to clearly convey payroll-related information.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Our Working Students in Germany receive a competitive monthly salary:
€1,566 for a 20-hour/week contract
€1,253 for a 16-hour/week contract
€1,400 for a full-time internship position
