About The Business :
Tata Electronics Private Limited (TEPL) is a greenfield venture of the Tata Group with expertise in manufacturing precision components.
Tata Electronics (a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons Pvt. Ltd.) is building India’s first AI-enabled state-of-the-art Semiconductor Foundry. This facility will produce chips for applications such as power management IC, display drivers, microcontrollers (MCU) and high-performance computing logic, addressing the growing demand in markets such as automotive, computing and data storage, wireless communications and artificial intelligence.

Key Responsibility
• Execute and supervise Structural steel fabrication, erection works.
• Coordination with Engineering to get the timely inputs and coordinate with GCs and fabrication vendors
• should have the ability the engineering drawings, GA drawings, Tekla Models and shop drawings for fabrication.
• Should be conversant with relevant IS standards, AWS and ASME sections.
• Coordination with Quality team to finalize the welding processes, ITPs, stage inspections, ensure product quality as per the design specifications.
• Adhere to the safety requirements and norms set by the management, preparation of work permits, work at height, etc.
• To take control over site and establish preventive measures for unsafe practices and violations.
• Prepare fabrication reports, monitoring and controlling the progress and escalation.
• Periodical reports to be submitted to top management.
Qualification
BE / B. Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Experience
5-10 years
Additional Technical Requirements
Experience in mechanical construction and execution projects
Strong experience in Heavy Structural Steel Fabrication and Erection works
Hands-on exposure to welding knowledge
Experience working with GA drawings, Shop drawings and multi-disciplinary environments
