Shift hours are:
7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Shifts are on a rotating 2-week schedule:
Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday (48 hours)
Week 2: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday (36 hours)
The Production Control Clerk is responsible for compiling and recording production data at Tangent’s manufacturing facilities to ensure accurate tracking and reporting. This role supports production and inventory accuracy by maintaining and verifying records, reviewing job orders, and assisting with ERP data management.
Requirements
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Track material usage and calculate production rates.
- Compile and record daily production data from work orders and product specifications.
- Verify and monitor inventory levels.
- Monitor and report job/manufacturing order costs and discrepancies.
- Close job/work orders in the ERP system.
- Assist the Production Manager in tracking jobs throughout their lifecycle.
- Participate in production meetings as needed.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Requirements
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
