Key job responsibilities: 

           

  • Build and manage a high-performing engineering team, identifying and addressing skill gaps as the company grows. This includes mentoring and coaching junior engineers.
  • Ensure robust IT infrastructure, supporting Talroo’s business executions.
  • Manage the maintenance and optimization of AWS infrastructure.
  • Oversee the development, optimization, and maintenance of technical code.
  • Provide training on and actively participate in the writing and reviewing of code across multiple languages.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to drive product innovation and successful project delivery.
  • Set and maintain high standards for employee ethics, as well as code quality, architecture, and system design.
  • Drive continuous improvement through the adoption of best practices, tools, and technologies.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members, aiding in problem-solving and decision-making processes

Minimum Requirements:

The position requires at least Master’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Data Science or related field. 4 years of experience in software development, data science, or machine learning. Demonstrated experience with the following:

 

  • Mentoring, training, or coaching other engineers, interns, or peers.
  • Defining deliverables, managing priorities, and contributing to successful project completion.
  • Developing data-driven applications and analytics systems.
  • Distributed systems and data processing frameworks, including Spark (PySpark or Scala).
  • Cloud infrastructure (AWS or similar) for application deployment and optimization.
  • Developing applications using programming or scripting languages such as Python, Java, or PHP
