Established over a hundred years ago, Takasago is a global leading company in the flavour and fragrance industry, having developed flavours and fragrances for some of the world’s most successful manufacturers of foods, beverages, fine fragrances, home, and personal care products.
For over 35 years, we have been a leading industrial producer of L-Menthol, using our core technology, asymmetric synthesis.
This technology enables us to produce unique, novel, and nature-identical aroma ingredients, and in addition, to manufacture pharmaceutical intermediates, functional materials, and other fine chemicals.
Takasago Group maintains offices, production sites, and R&D centers in twenty-seven countries and regions.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain a
robust, relevant, and future-ready fragrance library for the ASEAN region.
- Evaluator Development: Affiliate
evaluators are trained through daily work (handling briefs, testing in
bases, fragrance scoring) and formally assessed on-the-job.
- Custodian of the
library + assessor/coach of affiliate evaluators.
- Foundation
& Library Structuring
- Library audit
- Identify fragrances
(cross-category set) to form the backbone of the regional library.
- Handling live briefs: reviews selections, scoring accuracy and
fragrance–brief match.
- Expand library with market-relevant
additions
- Use ERP data to identify winning
themes and create FR
- Lead regional consumer
testing projects. Results
fed back into the library.
- Singapore checks consistency for affiliates evaluations
- Create fragrance playbooks by category.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Diploma and above qualification in Perfumery, Chemistry and relevant field.
- Minimum 3 years of fragrance evaluation across various categories.
- Stable and consistent growth and development track record in client-facing roles and fragrance development projects.
- Passion for fragrance and storytelling through scent and sharing.
- Good knowledge of sensory evaluation.
- Good knowledge of fragrance chemicals.
- Independent and responsible team player.
- Excellent presentation and communication skill.
