Addressing Australia’s water challenges is more important than ever. With a strong pipeline of water infrastructure projects across NSW and the wider APAC region, we are growing our Water team and seeking an experienced Senior to Associate Water Infrastructure Engineer to grow with us. H2O+U

Missions/Main Duties

About the Role

Our Water Group has built long-standing relationships across the sector and delivers strong outcomes for key clients, including major water authorities and local councils. This is an opportunity to play a leading role in the planning, design and delivery of important water and wastewater infrastructure projects.

 

You will:

  • Lead civil design packages from concept to detailed design
  • Support constructability, staging and project delivery
  • Contribute to technical governance and engineering standards
  • Mentor junior team members
  • Work across treatment plants, pump stations, pipelines and associated infrastructure
  • Build strong relationships with clients, including Sydney Water, councils and other stakeholder

Profile/Skills

About You

We value the different experiences and strengths each person brings. While every candidate will offer their own way of working, the following core skills and experience will support success in this role.

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • Chartered Engineer status, essential
  • Experience in consulting or engineering within the water industry
  • Technical expertise in potable water, sewerage and recycled water networks
  • Strong knowledge of WSAA (Water Services Association of Australia) and relevant industry codes
  • Experience working with Sydney Water and local councils
  • Knowledge of system curves, pump hydraulics and thrust block design
  • Proficiency in Civil 3D. Experience with MS Project, desirable
