Missions/Main Duties
- Reviewing and checking mechanical HVAC reports and drawings to ensure quality of output.
- Provide high level technical expertise when applying mechanical HVAC engineering principles, techniques and methods to the planning and design of building services projects.
- Ensure all quality and environmental aspects of the project are identified and addressed to maintain effective operation and project delivery.
- Communication to governmental authorities.
- To work for the design of metro projects.
- Experience in the design of the HVAC (Central cooling plant, chilled water piping distribution, air duct distribution, variable air volume systems, ventilation, DX systems, VRF, etc.)
- Should be knowledgeable in building design services, associated regulations and technical standards.
- Experience in the HVAC software (HAP), MEP Revit, Excel, Power Point and Word.
- Capable of working on own initiative.
- Effective communication skills.
- Good attention to details. Coordinating with MEP services like Plumping, electrical etc. to locate electrical equipment and providing cable tray & trunking routing.
- Modifying the drawings as per revisions based on Architectural, Structural drawings.
- Making the modifications to individual service drawings as per co-ordination Drawings.
- Comprehensive knowledge of international & national code/Standards
- Review reports and study existing technical information clearly and precisely to attain client requirements.
- Gather data, conduct complex computation and develop diagrams.
- Review BOQ, Cost Estimate and Technical Specification
- Ready to travel according to project needs.
- For team lead, prepare the resource requirement, Cost Monitor and Control
- Coordination with Project Manager and Client/ GC officials.
Profile/Skills
- Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering.
- 15+ years of experience on working in the HVAC design.
- A minimum 5 years of experience in metro projects
