This opportunity is part of Systemex Industrial Consulting (SIC)

SIC partners with organizations across the mining, manufacturing, energy, and industrial sectors to improve operational performance throughout the entire asset lifecycle.

Our multidisciplinary teams support clients in operational readiness, commissioning, start-up, ramp-up, maintenance and reliability, asset management, workforce solutions, and continuous improvement. We don't simply develop strategies; we work alongside our clients to successfully implement them

About the Role

 

 

Systemex Industries Conseils is looking for an Asset Management Advisor to join its team. In this role, you will contribute to meaningful industrial consulting mandates across sectors such as mining, manufacturing, energy, and infrastructure. You will support operational assessments, asset management initiatives, maintenance optimization, commissioning activities, and client-facing projects while developing your expertise alongside experienced technical leaders.

 

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Support the execution of client mandates, technical projects, and industrial consulting assignments.
  • Participate in operational assessments, audits, field reviews, site activities, and improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to maintenance strategies, procedures, commissioning plans, asset management initiatives, and operational improvement programs.
  • Collect, analyze, and organize technical and operational data to support recommendations and client deliverables.
  • Prepare reports, technical documentation, presentations, and other client-facing materials.
  • Coordinate assigned tasks, follow-ups, schedules, action items, and project reporting activities.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, senior advisors, and technical leaders to support project execution.
  • Contribute to quality, safety, operational excellence, knowledge-sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or another relevant technical discipline.
  • 2–8 years of relevant experience in an industrial, consulting, project, maintenance, reliability, or operations environment.
  • Experience in mining, manufacturing, energy, infrastructure, or other asset-intensive industries is an asset.
  • Strong organizational, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in French is mandatory. Proficiency in English is also required in order to communicate effectively with internal clients and partners located outside of Quebec.
