Das SYNLAB MVZ Kassel ist ein modernes medizinisches Versorgungszentrum für Laboratoriumsmedizin und Teil des europaweit tätigen Diagnostiknetzwerks SYNLAB. Vom Standort Kassel aus spannt das MVZ ein diagnostisches Netzwerk über die Regionen Hessen und Thüringen. Neben dem Hauptstandort gehören weitere etablierte Labore dazu, die Arztpraxen und Krankenhäuser als zuverlässige Partner in der labormedizinischen Diagnostik unterstützen. Mit rund 90 Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeitern bietet das MVZ Kassel eine schnelle und qualitativ hochwertige medizinische Diagnostik. Ziel ist es, behandelnde Ärztinnen und Ärzte bei einer optimalen Patientenversorgung sowie einer effizienten Therapiesteuerung zu unterstützen. Das Labor arbeitet hoch automatisiert und gewährleistet eine besonders schnelle Bearbeitung der Proben: Mehr als 99 % der Routineanalytik werden taggleich analysiert. Zum Spektrum der Routinediagnostik gehören unter anderem klinische Chemie, Immunologie, Immunhämatologie, Infektionsserologie, Therapeutisches Drug Monitoring (TDM) bzw. Drogenscreening sowie Hämatologie. Neben der schnellen Routinediagnostik bildet die klinische Mikrobiologie einen besonderen Schwerpunkt des Standortes. Dazu zählen moderne mikrobiologische Untersuchungsverfahren, einschließlich molekularbiologischer Nachweise sowie der MALDI-TOF-basierten Keimidentifizierung, die eine schnelle und präzise Erregerdiagnostik ermöglichen. Durch moderne Labortechnologie, qualifiziertes Fachpersonal und eine enge Zusammenarbeit mit einsendenden Praxen und Kliniken trägt das SYNLAB MVZ Kassel maßgeblich zu einer zuverlässigen und zeitnahen labormedizinischen Versorgung der Region bei.
