Purpose

Lead development and delivery of Synapse APIs, ensuring architecture, engineering quality, scalability, security, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of API services.

• Lead development squads and technical decision-making.

• Ensure compliance with coding standards, security controls, and engineering practices.

• Drive solution review, code review, and design governance.

• Mentor engineers and promote engineering best practices.

• Oversee production readiness and deployment approvals.

• Collaborate with Architecture, DevOps, Security, and Testing teams.

• Manage technical risks and dependencies.

• Support critical production incidents and major releases.

Experience

• 10+ years software engineering

• 5+ years leading engineering teams

• Experience managing enterprise API platforms
