Job Title: Supply Chain Planning Consultant

We are seeking a Consultant with functional expertise in Supply Chain Planning and retail operations to support the implementation of SymphonyAI SCPO solutions for global retail customers. This customer-facing role focuses on US retailer rollout support, requiring close collaboration with business stakeholders, product teams, and implementation teams. The ideal candidate will have experience in demand planning, inventory optimization, store operations, and master data management, with the capability to support workshops, contribute to future-state process design, and assist in successful solution deployment.

 


Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

 

Functional Discovery & Process Mapping

  • Support discovery sessions and business workshops with retail customers to understand current-state processes, business challenges, and operational goals.
  • Contribute to future-state supply chain planning process design aligned with customer requirements and SymphonyAI SCPO capabilities.
  • Document business requirements, functional specifications, and process flows.

SCPO Configuration & Solution Support

  • Configure and support supply chain planning modules across demand planning, replenishment, inventory optimization, and related planning functions.
  • Support setup and validation of master data, planning parameters, and business rules.
  • Collaborate closely with technical teams to ensure the solution aligns with functional requirements.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with customer teams across merchandising, planning, supply chain, store operations, and IT functions.
  • Support customer stakeholders throughout the implementation lifecycle.
  • Help manage risks, resolve issues, and ensure timely completion of project milestones.

Testing, UAT & Go-Live Support

  • Support test planning, test execution, and user acceptance testing activities.
  • Coordinate defect tracking, issue resolution, and validation of business processes.
  • Assist with go-live preparation, deployment activities, and post-go-live stabilization support.

Documentation & Knowledge Transfer

  • Develop process documentation, solution design documents, and training materials.
  • Support knowledge transfer sessions for customer teams and internal stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or a related field.
  • 3–6 years of experience in supply chain planning, retail operations, or enterprise software implementation.
  • Strong understanding of demand planning, inventory optimization, store operations, and master data management.
  • Experience supporting customer workshops, gathering requirements, and documenting business processes.
  • Strong understanding of retail supply chain operations and planning workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL and Excel for analysis, validation, and reporting.
  • Ability to work in a customer-facing environment and collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Experience supporting UAT, go-live, and post-implementation activities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience with supply chain planning or retail planning platforms.
  • Exposure to implementation projects for US-based retailers.
  • Familiarity with replenishment, assortment planning, forecasting, and allocation processes.
  • Experience working in customer-facing consulting or implementation roles.
