We are currently looking for an ITSM Deployment Specialist to support the delivery of software releases across complex, high-availability environments. In this role, you will coordinate and execute deployments across TEST and PROD environments, manage release dependencies and risks, and work closely with development, testing, infrastructure, security, and operations teams to ensure smooth and reliable software delivery.
What you will do...
- Plan, schedule, and manage end-to-end software releases across multiple environments (TEST and PROD environments).
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure release readiness.
- Identify, assess, and proactively mitigate release-related risks and dependencies.
- Execute deployments of Oracle WebLogic domains and clusters (12c / 14c) and the associated JMS servers, bridges and persistent stores; run the release train across
- Configuration application changes for new software releases
- Drive migration of legacy middleware messaging toward modern brokers (WebLogic JMS, ActiveMQ, Kafka) without breaking in-flight messages
- Support CI/CD processes by executing automated deployment pipelines
- Linux patch deployment across different environments
- Choose the right release pattern for each change: big-bang, cluster rolling, blue/green, canary, dark-launch or feature-flagged hot-fix, justified by the change's risk profile.
- Database installations using predefined scripts and executing sanity tests afterwards
- Ensure proper documentation, traceability, and compliance throughout the release lifecycle.
- Maintain accurate Configuration Items (CIs) and inter-component relationships in the CMDB after every release
- Validate successful deployments, monitor release health, manage rollbacks when needed, and support incident handling in collaboration with Operations and Support teams after deployments
- Act as a trusted point of contact for stakeholders regarding release status, timelines, and risks and work closely with development, security, architecture, and testing teams to ensure smooth release cycles
What is your experience...
- BSc degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or any other relevant field
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with deployments in complex environments
- Experience working in infrastructures with multiple parallel releases
- Linux command-line executions and scripting
- Proven experience in tools such as Spring Boot, WebLogic, JMS queues, SQL scripting
- Working knowledge of legacy and modern integration stacks: TUXEDO, Oracle Service Bus, Oracle SOA Suite, JAX-WS, JAX-RS, JAXB, EJB
- Knowledge in running, monitoring and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines on Docker, Jenkins, and Kubernetes to streamline deployments and automate recovery processes
- Experience with release automation tools, scripting, and working in regulated or highavailability environments would be considered an asset.
- Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills
