Job Summary

Organize warehouse and storage facilities; arrange warehouse handling equipment and load/unload air cargo. Maintain the required safety and quality standards as well as comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company policies.

Job Responsibilities

  • Load/unload air cargo from/to trucks.
  • Prepare and palletize cargo as needed.
  • Make sure the paperwork related to the cargo is correct.
  • Assure proper handling and delivery of cargo and operation of related equipment.
  • Transporting cargo to and from the ramp
  • Liaise with customers while receiving or delivering freight.
  • Ensure operational processes comply with applicable ISO 9001, 45001, and 14001 standards and support ongoing audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain documentation and procedures in alignment with ISO 9001, 45001, and 14001 requirements and organizational compliance standards.
  • Support internal and external ISO 9001, 45001, 14001 audits by preparing documentation and addressing corrective actions.
  • Follow Dangerous Goods Requirements and Regulations.
  • Comply with Swissport Standard Operating Procedures and Policies.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Competencies

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to obtain and hold a RAIC upon completion of training.
  • Ability to obtain and hold a D/A license.
  • Eligible to work in Canada with a valid, open work permit.
  • Flexible to work different shifts (days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays).
  • Bilingual in French and English, spoken and written.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Customer focus and quality awareness.
  • Must be able to work in inclement weather.
