Strategic Initiatives Manager

Sweetwater, the nation's number one online retailer of music instruments and pro audio gear, is seeking to add a detailed and dedicated Strategic Initiatives Manager to our growing Sales team! In this role, you will report directly to our Chief Sales Officer and help us drive initiatives around strategic alignments. You will be a key factor in coordinating projects across multiple departments, so if you love being the person in the middle of multiple important initiatives, then we'd love to speak with you!

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for connecting daily project goals directly to the long-term mission and business outcomes for Sweetwater
• Design clear project plans, set key performance indicators (KPIs), and establish realistic timelines for delivery
• Help prepare our company's Operating Systems processes, and work with stakeholders to create business plans for each strategic growth area
• Meet with business sponsors and executive leaders to report on progress, risk management, and help resolve roadblocks
• Monitor growth of strategic projects, evaluate data trends, and pivot strategies when business needs change
• Act as a right-hand to our Chief Sales Officer to drive project initiatives forward and provide feedback on their status

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven Project Management experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Business, or related field
• 3-5+ years of experience as a previous Executive Assistant preferred
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to cross-functionally influence and build relationships with stakeholders across the organization
• Ability to multitask and handle multiple high-priority projects or assignments at at time
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• High attention to detail
