Tender Quantity Surveyor (Office Base)
About this role
Purpose
- Prepare competitive tender submissions, cost estimates, and commercial proposals for Facilities Management (FM), maintenance, engineering, and A&A projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare tender pricing, cost estimates, and Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
- Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.
- Source, evaluate, and compare subcontractor and supplier quotations.
- Review contractors' quotations and Schedule of Rates (SOR) to ensure competitive pricing.
- Prepare tender submissions, commercial proposals, and tender clarifications.
- Conduct cost analysis, value engineering, and risk assessments.
- Maintain tender documentation, cost databases, and pricing records.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in tendering, estimating, or commercial quantity surveying, preferably in Facilities Management, engineering, maintenance, or construction.
- Strong knowledge of tendering, cost estimation, procurement, contract administration, and SOR pricing.
- Good analytical, commercial, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and estimating/QS software
