Senior Facilities Manager
About this role
Lead the day-to-day operations and maintenance of campus facilities, including M&E systems, infrastructure, utilities, and grounds, ensuring high reliability and service delivery.
Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programmes, ensuring facilities remain safe, operational, and fit for teaching, research, and campus activities.
Manage contracts, vendors, and outsourced service providers, ensuring compliance with KPIs, SLAs, statutory requirements, and service quality standards.
Develop and manage operational and capital budgets, monitor expenditure, control costs, and oversee procurement, tendering, and contract administration.
Lead capital projects, refurbishment works, infrastructure upgrades, and asset lifecycle planning to support long-term campus development.
Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety & Health (WSH), fire safety, statutory regulations, and quality standards while promoting a strong safety culture across the campus.
Lead and develop facilities teams, engage with clients and stakeholders, drive sustainability initiatives, and implement continuous improvement program to enhance operational performance and customer satisfaction.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Building Services, or a related discipline.
Minimum 8 years of relevant Facilities Management experience, preferably within educational, institutional, healthcare, or large-scale integrated facilities environments.
Proven experience managing IFM operations, contract management, project delivery, and asset management.
Strong knowledge of M&E systems, building operations, maintenance strategies, statutory compliance, and safety regulations.
Experience in budgeting, procurement, tender management, and contract administration.
Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and people management skills.
Strong analytical, financial, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities with proficiency in Microsoft Office and FM/CAFM systems.
