About this role

Summary

Responsible for the day-to-day facilities operations including maintaining uptime and operations of facilities to meet business needs. The manager is required to lead, manage and monitoring on teams’ responses and rectification actions to the reported cases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the 24/7 operations of all assigned Fault Reporting Centres (FRC/FCC), ensuring efficient fault reporting, dispatch, and service coordination.

  • Manage fault escalation, incident response, and technical troubleshooting for ACMV systems and critical facilities, including laboratories and cleanrooms.

  • Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and operational workflows to achieve service excellence.

  • Coordinate emergency responses, system commissioning, defect rectification, and troubleshooting activities with internal teams, clients, and contractors.

  • Plan and deploy manpower resources to support daily operations, special events, annual shutdowns, and emergency situations.

  • Supervise engineering staff, specialist contractors, and subcontractors, ensuring maintenance works are completed safely, on time, and in accordance with specifications.

  • Conduct routine site inspections, monitor contractor performance, and maintain effective communication with clients to ensure operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Job Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Management, Building Services, or a related discipline.

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Facilities Management, ACMV operations, engineering operations, or fault reporting centre management, with supervisory experience preferred.

  • Strong technical knowledge of ACMV systems, M&E services, and critical environments such as laboratories and cleanrooms.

  • Experience managing 24/7 operations, incident response, fault escalation, and contractor performance.

  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and customer service skills.

  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication abilities.

  • Proficient in CMMS, Microsoft Office applications, and other facilities management systems.
