Facilities Management Building Manager
About this role
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Building Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of assigned buildings, ensuring facilities are safe, well-maintained, and operate efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Leading the site team in the management and maintenance of the Premises; supervise the day-to-day general maintenance (i.e. cleanliness, security, pest control, etc.) and technical operations (i.e. sanitary and plumbing systems, mechanical and electrical systems, lift system, etc.)
Monitor the compliance with contract requirement specifications, service levels and KPIs for performance evaluations;
Assist in the monitoring and ensuring that each staff member discharges their duties diligently
Prepare, consolidate and check submissions of all required monthly reports, certificates of payment, work orders and checklists to the Authority;
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements for technical systems, fire safety, workplace safety and health, etc.
Provide professional expertise in energy management, conducting energy audits, implementing energy efficiency measures, and assisting the Authority with the reduction of energy and water consumption and costs (where applicable)
Support the implementation of Singapore's Green Mark certification scheme by assessing and certifying buildings for environmental sustainability and energy efficiency standards;
Requirements
Degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Building Services, or a related discipline.
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in facilities management, building operations, or integrated facilities management, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
Proven experience managing multiple sites, vendors, maintenance operations, and facilities-related projects.
Strong knowledge of building Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems, statutory compliance, and facilities management best practices.
Demonstrated experience in budget planning, cost control, contract administration, and vendor performance management.
Strong leadership, organisational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
