AI Product Manager

SJ Campus · On-site

About this role

As part of the Central AI-Core team, you’ll drive the product strategy and delivery of AI-enabled products across SJ Group’s business units - turning real workflow friction in design, tendering, construction management, and document intelligence into products teams actually adopt.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify high-value AI use cases across design, tendering, construction management, and document intelligence, and define product vision, roadmap, and success metrics across SJ Group’s business units (BUs).
  • Translate ambiguous workflow pain points into clear product requirements, user stories, and release scopes for engineering teams.
  • Partner with AI engineers, data teams, designers, and business stakeholders to take products from concept through to production launch.
  • Balance experimentation with delivery discipline, deciding what to automate, what to keep human-in-the-loop, and what is not worth building.
  • Structure ambiguous problems with a consulting-led approach and communicate direction, AI risks, and business value to executive and operational stakeholders.
  • Embed model evaluation, explainability, safeguards, and governance into product design and rollout.
  • Define and monitor KPIs for adoption, cycle-time reduction, quality uplift, and user satisfaction, iterating post-launch.

About you

  • A track record of delivering digital or workflow products end to end - from problem definition through to launch and adoption - whether in a dedicated product role or by leading product-like initiatives inside your current team.
  • Demonstrated fluency in applied AI, including generative AI, retrieval, workflow automation, and intelligent decision-support patterns.
  • Strong structured problem-solving and stakeholder management skills, comfortable operating in ambiguous, cross-functional environments.
  • Working knowledge of how SJ Group delivers - the business units, workflows, and project realities these products will serve - and the ability to turn that into execution-ready product artifacts with Agile teams.
  • It will be advantageous if you have hands-on experience in AEC, infrastructure, real estate, or another complex, workflow-heavy business line.
  • It will be advantageous if you have exposure to enterprise AI products, AI governance, model evaluation, or transformation programmes.
