Job Summary:

Supermicro is looking for a Production Test Technician to perform testing of defective products, identify needed repairs, and ensures quality control for commercial standards and customer needs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Inspect, test, and troubleshoot all products from our assembly line
• Assist test engineer/supervisor to diagnose and identify root causes for failed system
• Test and identify defective area(s)
• Execute ECO, BIOS, and FW upgrades
• Adhere to standard testing procedures and schedule to meet daily demand and quality requirements
• Work efficiently in a fast paced production environment
• Adhere to company and Production departments policies and procedures
• Perform other duties, as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in system troubleshooting preferred
• Basic knowledge of PC, System and Server operation
• Familiarity with operation systems (windows / linux)
• Strong attention to detail, including accuracy and thoroughness
• Solid communications skills both verbal and written
• Self-motivated team player with a positive attitude
• Strong work ethic
