Software Engineer (AI Platform)
About this role
We are looking for a Software Engineer (AI Platform) with 2+ years of experience to join a small, elite engineering team building the frontier AI coding agent that enables non-engineers to create production-grade enterprise software. You'll work directly with the CTO (ex-founding engineer at Confluent) on systems that make AI agents accurate, safe, and production-ready at scale. Superblocks is growing fast, backed by $60M from Kleiner Perkins, Spark Capital, and founders of Datadog, Box, and Okta — and the next funding round could happen any time. You'll be ~5% of the engineering team on day one with massive ownership and outsized equity upside.
What will you be doing?
Building an AI continuous learning system with short-term memory, persistent memory, and organizational knowledge graphs so Clark (the AI agent) becomes an expert on each customer's data
Designing and building AI coding agents that automatically generate, execute, debug, and test code — handling failures and feedback loops so non-engineers can ship production applications
Designing frontier human-AI interactions and feedback loops for enterprise users
Working on centralized governance layers where IT admins can control apps, workflows, agents, secrets, and policies
Solving problems at the intersection of agentic AI, security, and distributed systems at global scale
