About the Role

A Machine Operator is a resilient and team-minded individual responsible for installing, maintaining, and operating various types of machinery to ensure optimal performance and product quality. Key duties and responsibilities include:

Setting up and calibrating manufacturing equipment.
Operating machine equipment to complete production tasks efficiently.
Conducting quality checks to ensure parts or materials meet required standards.
Evaluating machine efficiency and identifying areas of improvement.
Adhering to all safety rules, best practices, and company standards.
Performing other related duties as assigned.

QualificationsAbout You

Basic Qualifications

Understanding of basic math including fractions.
Ability to read and interpret shop drawings.
Proficiency with tape measures.
Experience in setting up and operating machinery used in manufacturing.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior relevant experience in a similar role.
Forklift certification.
Overhead crane experience.
Knowledge of inventory control procedures.
Proficiency with hand tools.

Physical Requirements

Manual dexterity and stability required for precision work.
Close-range vision for detailed work.
Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
Capacity to traverse facilities and machinery by climbing, balancing, lifting, walking, stooping, and carrying materials.
