ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Employee shall perform all duties and responsibilities with Sunland's Core Values at the forefront.
- Responsible for the establishment and performance of Project Consultants as it relates to bookings and gross profit goals.
- Tracks and monitors Project Consultant activities in accordance with prescribed policies and processes.
- Assists Project Consultants with organizational skills, account strategies, territory planning, administrative responsibilities, and developing technical expertise in selling Sunland Asphalt products and services in order to be able to assess all of the customer's needs.
- Is actively engaged in Project Consultants' orientation and training programs.
- Acts as a resource to Project Consultants in all matters concerning customer experience, projects, and resource utilization.
- Assist Project Consultants with scoping projects, contract negotiations, bid reviews, closing the sale, and developing marketing plans for accounts as needed or required
- Assists with the assignment and planning of trade shows and industry functions to expand network, attendance at events and functions may be required
- Coordinates and assists in leading sales meetings with Project Consultants.
- Stays informed of new products, services, and competitive activity.
- Assists in answering customer questions, resolving complaints, and developing solutions.
- Prepare reports for local, senior, and executive leadership within the organization
- Makes recommendations to management on service offerings and strategies to grow market share
- Approves project invoices promptly and collects receivables when needed.
- Ensures that quality control is maintained on the job.
- Makes sure that job close out is timely and efficient.
- Any and all duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A high school diploma or GED is required; a four (4) year college degree is preferred.
- At least three (3) years industry experience in sales, sales management, and construction management is preferred.
- Excellent computer skills are required.
- Must be fluent in English, i.e., must be able to speak, read and write English.
- A current driver's license is required.
- Must be willing to travel to jobsites.
