¡Hola y bienvenido/a a Sungrow! We are excited to welcome an ESS Project Manager to our Energy Storage Business Sector in Spain. In this role, you will help deliver high-impact battery storage projects across Southern Europe and contribute directly to a more sustainable energy future.

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of ESS projects, from purchase order through commissioning and final handover.
  • Build and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, and mitigation actions.
  • Act as the main contact for customers, EPC partners, suppliers, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate cross-functional colleagues in sales, engineering, logistics, service, finance, and quality to keep delivery on track.
  • Manage contract obligations, payment milestones, technical documentation, and project reporting.
  • Ensure projects meet agreed quality, safety, timeline, and customer-satisfaction standards.

Your profile

  • You hold a degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Industrial Engineering, Project Management, or a comparable field.
  • You have at least three years of project-management experience in energy storage, renewables, electrical infrastructure, EPC, or related technical environments.
  • You understand ESS or BESS project delivery, including supply, logistics, commissioning, contractual requirements, and stakeholder coordination.
  • You are confident managing multiple priorities, budgets, schedules, risks, and project documentation in a fast-paced environment.
  • You bring strong communication, negotiation, customer-management, and cross-cultural collaboration skills.
  • You have Spanish, French, Italian, and English at C1 level, both written and spoken.
  • Project-management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or CAPM are a plus.
  • You are willing to travel within Spain, France, Italy, and other European project locations as needed.
