Sunflower Bank, N.A. is looking for an energetic, highly motivated individual to fill the position of a full-time Commercial Loan Booking & Servicing Specialist.

The hourly rate for this position is $30.00 - $45.00 per hour depending on knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, and location.

Description:

The Commercial Loan Booking & Servicing Specialist position is responsible for the funding, booking, and servicing of loans in a high risk, high productive environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Completion of all tasks in a timely manner.
  • Book new, renewed, or modified loans to FISERV.
  • Create the Customer Information File (CIF) and verify the appropriate information.
  • Disburse loan proceeds and make the appropriate debit and credit entries to general ledger account.
  • Validate ticklers are in nCino, if applicable.
  • Perform quality review of your work.
  • Initiate and/or approve wire requests.
  • Balance at the end of the day.
  • Monitor Servicing Inbox/Pathway for servicing/maintenance requests which include but are not limited to: Post payments and/or advances, Rate changes, Billing/auto debit setup requests, Borrowing Base Certificates, Payoff requests, Research, Additional requests as necessary
  • Monitor various reports to ensure proper adjustment/conversion of loans
  • Input index changes to FISERV and Laser Pro daily.
  • Create, update, and maintain procedures and templates/forms for all tasks performed in this position.
  • Maintain high level of accuracy and working knowledge of user needs.
  • Maintain knowledge of regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain knowledge of current Loan Policies and Procedures.
  • Provide back-up as needed to positions within the Loan Operations Area.

Education / Experience Preferred:

  • Must possess 3-5 years of commercial booking and/or servicing experience.
  • Must have exceptional skills posting to and reconciling general ledger accounts.
  • Must possess the ability to research posting issues and find resolutions.
  • Knowledge of FISERV and nCino systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and all other Microsoft applications.
  • Ability to learn new systems and understand additional bank system functionality.
  • Must possess exceptional detail, time management and organizational skills.

Pay is dependent on knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, and location.

Working Conditions

The physical demands of this position require the ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation. Employees may spend extended periods sitting or standing, using hands to operate computers or other equipment, and reaching for work-related tasks. Regular walking may be required, along with occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, or climbing. The role may involve lifting or moving items weighing up to 10 pounds. Vision requirements include close and distance vision, color and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
