About this role
You will manage the end-to-end design, development, maintenance and delivery of customer valued products and solutions.
This is a 12-month contract opportunity.
What you’ll do:
- Manage and maintain Consumer products in accordance with governance, frameworks and charters.
- Work with all stakeholders to support development of end-to-end customer value propositions, including with third party partners and providers.
- Regularly review, maintain and negotiate all policy wordings, ensuring legal, risk and reinsurance input as required.
- Support the Suncorp NZ technology delivery model and our data and digital transformation, with a particular focus on our product simplification strategy.
- To help drive value for our customers and business partners, by maximising sustainable profits and generate quality growth across the portfolios.
What you’ll bring:
- Experience in product management of more than 5 years is desirable.
- Experience in NZ and/or Global insurance and/or financial services market environment ideally within a Personal Insurance or Commercial Insurance context.
- An insurance related qualification is desirable.
- Leadership and change management skills, consultation, influencing and negotiation capability.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to effectively resolve conflict.
- Proven stakeholder engagement capability, and the ability to deliver high quality work under time pressure.
